travel cruising the world crown princess dining at sea
EXECUTIVE CHEF: NAVEEN QUADROS

Menu selections in Princess diningrooms change daily and usually include, at least, one meat dish, one fish dish, and one vegetarian dish.
Aside from these selections that change every day, Princess offers one or two "Princess Favorites" in each category that are always available.
While the quality of the selections vary from day to day and ship to ship, evening dining can, almost always, be counted on to be an especially good meal.
Dinners in the main dining rooms have always been a highlight of my cruises on Princess.

The dependable highlights of Princess dining are always the exceptional breads, pastries, and variety of "starters" and desserts.
As a general rule, most main courses can be depended upon to be well prepared and presented and very tasty.

For some inexplicable reason, Princess seems to prepare excellent prime rib, short ribs, beef Wellington, and other meat dishes, but has become more and more consistently poor in its quality of steak served.
While this cruise did have some rather tough steaks, they were well cooked and presented and, on this cruise, edible.
It is my opinion that it is the poor quality of steak that has been purchased as opposed to any poor preparation in the galley.
